Tropical storm Debby brings tornadoes, more rain to North Carolina after 2nd US landfall
Tropical Storm Debby made its second US landfall early Thursday – this time in South Carolina – and is unleashing torrential rain, tornadoes and destructive flooding in North Carolina. One person is missing after a tornado damaged homes and a school in the state and there was also a rare flash flood emergency warning of life-threatening flooding. The storm is set to drench several already-soaked states as it marches northward through the rest of the week.
