MORGAN CITY, La. (KADN) — A dramatic rescue happened in Morgan City following Hurricane Francine's arrival on Wednesday, September 11.
A tree fell on a house, knocking it off its foundation and onto a gas meter.
The fire department was called to the scene as gas started spewing.
A couple and two children were rescued from the home as firefighters worked to turn off the gas.
This all happened as the northern eye wall was battering Morgan City with strong winds and heavy rain.
