One box of frozen puff pastry dough comes with 2 sheets. Thaw out one sheet on the counter for about 40 minutes. You can double the recipe and use both sheets to make 2 pizzas. Put a 1/2 cup of beef jerky into a food processor, set aside. Preheat oven to 410 degrees. Unfold the thawed sheet of dough, then using a rolling pin slightly roll out the dough keeping its square shape. Using a butter knife, score around the edge of the dough forming a pizza crust. Don't cut all the way through. Poke holes on the inside of the scored lines with a fork. See video attached for step by step instructions. Beat one egg with a splash of water. Spread the egg wash all over the top of the dough. Bake in the oven on a pan for 10 minutes. The pizza crust will puff up. Carefully remove from the oven, then using the back of the spoon press down on the inside of the scored dough until flat. Leaving the pizza crust around the edges puffed up. Mix 4 oz of speadable cream cheese with 2 tsp of Italian seasoning. Warming the cream cheese in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds will help it spread easier. Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top the flattend part of the crust. It's ok if some of the flaky crust mixes with the cream cheese. Add a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese, and a layer of beef jerky that was shredded in a food processor. Then add crumbled pieces of cooked bacon, and top with the cut up pieces of sliced mozzarella. Add sliced onions and bellpeppers. Put back in the oven for about 10 more minutes at 410 degrees. Baking times may vary. Since this is a square pizza, I like to cut it into square pieces. Enjoy!
