LAFAYETTE, La. - A small four-seat plane landing at Lafayette Regional Airport Thursday morning experienced landing gear issues.

The issues caused the plane to make a rough landing. There were no injuries to the pilot or the passenger onboard. The landing gear issue caused temporary closure of the runway and shutdown of all flights arriving and departing LFT until the planes removal.

Officials said passengers should contact their individual airlines to check the status of their flight.
