BROUSSARD, La. (KADN) — Broussard is looking to bring more restaurants and retail stores to its city.
City leaders say it's aimed at creating a vibrant community for not just residents, but visitors as well.
The City of Broussard announced that it is partnering with the firm "Retail Strategies."
The company will help the city identify locations that are "shovel ready" for new businesses to build in the city.
Leaders said this will in turn help boost the local economy with more jobs and increased sales tax revenue.
Retail Strategies added its partnership with Broussard will help make it more attractive to expanding businesses.
