NEW ORLEANS (KADN) — The New Orleans Saints announced former Louisiana running back Jacob Kibodi was cut from the practice squad on Tuesday.

The organization added it had signed rookie wide receiver and kick returner Jermaine Jackson of Idaho to take his spot.

After a solid preseason, Kibodi was released on August 27 but was signed to the practice squad not long after.

During three preseason games, Kibodi had 19 rushes for 71 yards. He also had four catches for 30 yards. He scored two touchdowns.

He signed with the Saints in April as an undrafted rookie.
