CHURCH POINT, La. — The Church Point Police Department is asking for the community's help in several incidents that occurred late Thursday, Feb. 22 and early Friday, Feb. 23.

Several vehicles were broken into in different areas of town where the windows were smashed and items were taken.

The vehicle seen in the photos is a dark-colored vehicle and is the suspected vehicle used in these burglaries involving three male suspects in different areas of town.

Through investigation, we were able to determine that these individuals are the same ones in all five vehicle burglaries throughout different areas of town.

We are asking that if you live in the areas described below and have a surveillance system, please review it and if you catch anything on it that may help, please either email the video to Chief@churchpointpolice.com or call and we will go by and get a copy of it. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

From surveillance video already obtained, the burglars appear to be three younger males wearing black and grey hoodies.

The following areas were affected:

  • Elm Street
  • Breaux Street
  • Wimberly Street near North Street
  • Gary Drive
  • St. Jude Street

These vehicles were locked and secured, and the windows were broken to gain access inside of them.

If you have any information which may assist in identifying these suspects, please contact the Church Point Police Department at 337-684-5455 or Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers.
