Abbeville shooting sends man & woman to hospital; 2 shooters sought

ABBEVILLE, La. (KADN) — Abbeville Police Chief Mike Hardy said a man and woman were taken to the hospital after getting shot on January 2.

Abbeville police said they received the call around 10:30 p.m. about a shooting that happened near the intersection of Alphonse Street and East Oak Street.

They added the man was shot in the head and the woman in the upper left arm.

According to investigators, there were two shooters dressed in all black.

Chief Hardy is urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Abbeville Police Department at (337) 893-2511. He added they can also contact the tips line at (337) 892-6777.
