EVANGELINE PARISH, La. (NEWS 15) — Evangeline Parish Sheriff Charles Guillory has confirmed that a body found outside of Ville Platte a few days before Christmas has been identified as a teen reported missing in early December.
The body of Dajavon Wilson, 16, of Mamou, was discovered on December 21 but has now been positively identified.

Wilson was reported missing after last being seen in Ville Platte on December 7.
The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating the case as a homicide.
