Man shot to death in Eunice; no suspects identified

EUNICE, La. (KADN) — Eunice police said a man is dead after a shooting early Sunday morning.

Police Chief Kyle LeBouef said officers were called to the 200 block of Hill Street around 3 a.m. and found the victim lying in the roadway near a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.

Chief LeBouef noted the victim was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim's name has not been released and no suspects have been identified, according to the chief.

The investigation is ongoing.
