VILLE PLATTE, La. — Chief A. Perry Thomas reports that on Wednesday, December 11, the Ville Platte Police Department arrested Elrick Gallow, 52, of Baton Rouge, and charged him with the second-degree murder of Keabreonna “KeKe” Doucet, 27.

Throughout the course of the investigation, with the assistance of the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana State Police, evidence was obtained that led to the application of an arrest warrant that was approved and signed by Judge Chuck West.

No bond has been set.
