LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) — A Lafayette woman is dead following a shooting just before midnight on Saturday, Dec. 9. The murder added to a very daunting record for homicides in the Hub City.
Police said Michelle Touchet, 37, was walking home from a neighbor's house in the 300 block of Sampson Avenue when a gunman shot her multiple times.
At this time, police do not know the identity of the shooter.
