ABBEVILLE, La. (KADN) — A beloved local restaurant was destroyed in a high-speed chase and its owners are hoping the community will rally to its support.
A fleeing car traveling at an estimated 100 miles per hour crashed into the Original Cajun Claws.
The damage is pretty extensive and will be costly to repair.
The owners have set up a GoFundMe with a goal of raising $30,000 to rebuild. CLICK HERE to donate.
As for the driver who plowed into the building, he was reportedly chased by police because he shop-lifted at Walmart and had a warrant out for his arrest.
