OPELOUSAS, La. (KADN) — Opelousas police said a second suspect has been arrested for a shooting in June that sent the victim to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police said Todd Stelly, 36, of Opelousas, was booked on charges of attempted second-degree murder and possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies.

Authorities said Gregory Maynard was caught by the Allen Parish Sheriff Office and has been transported to the St. Landry Parish Jail.
OPELOUSAS, La. — The Opelousas Police Department is actively investigating two separate shooting incidents that happened on Sunday, June 23.
Investigators said the shooting happened on Prudhomme Street near Juanita Street in Opelousas on Sunday, June 23, just before 11 a.m.
Gregory Maynard was previously arrested and also charged with attempted murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
